Law clerks will work in a very fast-paced environment in law
firms, corporate legal departments, financial institutions, insurance
companies, title searching companies, Federal, Provincial and
Municipal Government offices, court offices, registry offices,
government boards and tribunals, and legal services provider agencies,
etc. Depending on the area of employment, law clerks will prepare
trial documentation, will interview witnesses, arrange trial dates
and adjournments, prepare corporate/commercial documentation,
complete family law financial statements, assist in the administration
of estates, complete legal research, searching titles and processing
real estate transactions etc.
