Technician
Our Pharmacy Technician Program provides both the technical and practical skills
required to serve as a competent technician to a licensed pharmacist. Our curriculum
is based on the competencies and outcomes set by the National Association of
Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA), Canadian Pharmacy Technician
Educators Association (CPTEA) and the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
CTS Canadian Career College is very pleased to announce our Pharmacy Technician Program has been awarded the status of Provisional Accreditation by the Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs for a three year term 2009-2012.

Diploma Program
Computer skills necessary in pharmacy practice will be utilized
and both pharmaceutical and medical terminology will be covered.
In conjunction with a representative from the Ontario College
of Pharmacists, local pharmacists, program co-coordinator and
instructors, our program has achieved a high standard of education
in both Technicans, and other health professionals for specialized
areas. Each instructor possesses specific education and experience
in the courses they teach.
The Pharmacy Technician program has 8 weeks of placement that
comprises of 4 weeks in a retail environment and 4 weeks in a
hospital setting. This placement is a mandatory component of the
program. .
