At CTS Canadian Career College, every student journey is unique. From day one, our staff and faculty are there to guide students every step of the way. We understand the challenges of balancing education with real-life commitments, and we make it our mission to provide encouragement, flexibility, and practical support. One of the ways we do this is by arranging and facilitating placements for our students, removing the stress of searching on their own and ensuring they gain experience in the right setting.
Our programs are designed to provide more than just technical skills. Alongside hands-on training, students develop the confidence and professional presence needed to succeed in the workforce. Going into this program was exciting and finishing this program is even better than I could have imagined! Throughout this last year, I have learned so much that I will carry through into my career as an MLAT! It’s a lot of information to learn and digest, but I promise it’s worth it once you get into the lab and placement to start actively using everything!
My teachers, Bonnie and Tammy, made this program enjoyable for me! Bonnie is beyond knowledgeable and Tammy made Lab days exciting! Both are always willing to help and go the extra mile to make sure you do understand thoroughly!
I was also able to meet someone I now call my best friend, Annabelle, and I will forever be thankful for her!
My favourite part in school was the lab portion, being able to take the theory we learn and put it into use! I am currently halfway done placement and it really has brought everything together! I cannot thank Bonnie and Tammy enough for how they’ve prepared us so amazingly for the workplace!

Lesley Williamson, my mentor, created engaging and interactive classes. Kim Kealey transformed my fear of calculations into confidence, making me proficient in Sage® 50. Chris and Kim Bean were amazing, some instructors even conducted extra classes to ensure every student could excel.
At CTS Canadian career College, I learned that success is a two-way street: instructors are there to guide you, but students must put in the effort. Looking back, I’m so grateful I took that step, even if I was hesitant at first. Certain qualities make CTS a great choice for study; they have amazing instructors, an array of great courses to select from, a great financial plan for the convenience of the student, and great Job prospect. These qualities make CTS come highly recommended.

I was initially feeling overwhelmed and financially I was not in a position to be able to continue in the program. I met with the Campus Director, Program Director, and Financial Aid and they provided me with the tools to help me succeed. A payment plan was set up to help me track my fees, provided a job recommendation was provided to help me get hands-on experience (still at this job by the way!), and I received follow-up support and care until the end of my program.
CTS CCC Instructors are some of the best you would get at any College in Northern Ontario. They encouraged me to get started with the licensing process as soon as I graduated, as they believed that I would do well in the workforce. Although I was scared thinking that I was not ready for the process, I took up the challenge once again, and 6 months after graduation, I am now a fully Registered Pharmacy Technician!
