45-Week Medical Office Administrator

This diploma program prepares the graduate for administrative positions working in medical environments including clinics, hospitals, physician’s offices, physiotherapists and many more. Graduates will possess strong office administrative and computer skills combined with a basic understanding of anatomy, pathology and pharmacology. Graduates will use appropriate terminology when dealing with medical staff and clients/patients and will be able to assist medical staff with the care and administration of patients. Graduates will be prepared to produce transcribed reports and process computerized OHIP billing and associated documentation.
